Wow

Turn your gaze
To Heaven and raise
A joyous noise
The sound of salvation come
The sound of rescued ones
And all this for a king
Angels join to sing
‘All for Christ our King!’

Ohh praise Him!
Ohh praise Him!
He is Holy!
He is Holy!

God is amazing.

I forget that far too easily. This past week God has just blown me away again. I foget how big and how powerful and how far beyond my imagination He really is.

One Way was incredible… God really moved in school and just touched people with His love. I am so blessed to have been a part of it. Thank you Jesus. Watching Thursday evening unfold was just stunning – after Mitch spoke and the band started playing again, people who had made or wanted to make committments to Jesus started to move out of the main hall, into a different room to talk to someone. I dont think I have ever seen a more beautiful sight… kids (i say kids, theyre not that much younger than me) getting out of their seats in droves… Jesus thank you!

I cried.

“The sound of salvation come, The sound of rescued ones.”

I actually just stood at the back for a short time, and cried. Words don’t do it justice. Jesus reclaimed some ground that was lost. And now all I can do is stand back in awe, and sing, Ohh Praise Him!

    Indoctrination at work again then?
Get them good and young before they think independently, they might ask questions then.
    We couldn’t have theat.

Thats a bit unfair now… I think you’ll find that people that age do think independently, i know a lot of people who came to the events and didnt become Christians, its not like we brainwashed people! And it does say in Proverbs that you should ‘train up a child in the way that he should walk’.

no one is forced to make a decision to be in relationship to Jesus. And even if people coerce other people, or people try to force other people to do so. . Jesus doesn’t operate that way. . and anything that’s forced or put upon someone by somebody else’s doing won’t be genuine. Not saying this event was about that at all. . but I’ve know people who have almost ‘beat’ others over the head with scripture and guilt trips, etc. . and its shameful. But you know, there’s nothing more powerful than the presence of God and it sounds like God’s presence was powerfully with you all there. The truth is the truth, there can be no one who can detract from it. God is God and let people criticize, as it is their choice to do so. . but let them not be so cynical as to disparage a beautiful thing. . people saying “I’ve tried being ‘indepent’ it just gets me in deeper.”

i think whoever posted the first comment has the wrong view of Christianity. im rather young and i think very independently. and no one forced me to Jesus. if youve found Jesus you know that no one can force you to Christ. and alot of times questions about God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit and the Bible all can make faith in Jesus much realer and stronger. it seems to me like you fear getting questions, if there are any questions the answer is almost always in Scripture, which is a flawlessly written document.
